Eric’s Mark I

Eric's Mark IEric’s Mark I movie theater as it was at 18th and Market in Philadelphia, PA circa 1983. I was a student at The Philadelphia College of Art, and I was snapping frames of 35mm film as reference for a class project.


In the wake of the runaway successes of 10 and Arthur, Dudley Moore was poised to be a huge box-office draw as indicated by the big banner pictured above. Sadly, it never worked out that way. Romantic Comedy was one of those many forgettable films filling the nightly lineup of premium cable channels that were rising to the fore at the time.
