This is a showcase of Miss Garceau’s series of artwork known as The Friday Five. The Friday Five are collages consisting of five and only five disparate elements usually sourced from found photographs, mid-Twentieth Century catalogs, found objects and both digital and analog photographs Tina has shot herself. As the author of these works says, “Limiting oneself to only five elements is a blessing and a curse. It paints me into a creative corner.”
