Visual Metaphors

Paolo P_p3

I do work for a company that coaches executives. The company uses a number of techniques to make these executives more effective leaders. One of these techniques is the visual metaphor, and that’s where I enter the picture. The client is asked to provide a brief three-step metaphor explaining where they were, where they are now and where they want to be. It gets handed to me, and I have to turn it into a three panel sequential illustration. Sometimes the metaphors are highly detailed, and other times they are nebulously vague.

Above is the third panel from one of these visual metaphors.

  1. How about showing the other panels?

  2. Joe Willceau says:

Some are better than others, but a request is a request, and I wasn’t sure what I was going to post today. This was panel 3. I’ll go in reverse and give you panel 2.
