Gaiety Sandwich Shop

Gaiety Sandwich ShopAnother one of my art school photos from Philadelphia in 1982 although I didn’t really intend this shot to be art. We would get these assignments to shoot some subject matter or other, and rather than waste shots, I would try to use up the 36 exposure roll of Pan-X. This was one of those frame wasters which is a lot more interesting than the images I purposefully shot.

I’m not sure of the exact location, but it was probably East of Broad Street right in what is considered Center City.

I don’t know who the guy is either. He’s just somebody who walked into my frame as I was trying to adjust the focus and exposure.
