I know that we’re basking in the dog days of summer, but Halloween is just around the corner! With October 31st in mind, I decided to take a spooky shot and see what I could do to push it a little more dramatically. I shot this a while back deep in South Philly and decided to play around with it a bit in Photoshop and in it’s free, open source rival GIMP.
Here’s the original. It’s the fence surrounding the graveyard at The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Trinity at 18th and Wolf.
Below is another photo of the graveyard that I played with in Affinity Photo which costs more than GIMP, but a whole lot less than Photoshop.
