Fiddling Around in Photoshop Alternatives

Drake-ulaI have a number of less than great photos shot with point-and-shoot cameras, and I decided to have a little fun exploring the possibilities of image editors other than Adobe’s Photoshop. Above is a daytime shot of the Drake in Center City Philadelphia which I turned into a dramatic image in Affinity Photo which I call Count Drake-ula.

The shot below was a ho-hum image but I turned it into an urban nightmare from the 1970s thanks to an image editor with the unlikely name of Acorn.

SubwayBelow is the same photo augmented into a saturated nightmare thanks to Affinity Photo.
