Baby in a Wicker Rocker
The infant was probably one of John Capewell’s sons, but I’m not sure which. The wicker chair looks to be sturdy and very new. It may have been something John acquired for Ella in expectation of their first born which … Continue reading

Family in an Overgrown Yard
Here’s another photograph featuring photographer John Capewell, his wife Ella, and what I am assuming were either his or her relatives. I don’t know who these people are, but there are a few faces that look familiar from some of … Continue reading
Couple in the Garden
Here’s another photograph shot by John Capewell of which I have very little information. I’m hoping that somebody might recognize this older couple who seem to be proud of their flowers in what looks to be the backyard of a … Continue reading
Ella’s Side of the Family
This looks to be Ella Capewell’s side of the family with her mother and father seated in the foreground; I’m guessing it’s her brother standing to the left, and on the right smiling at her husband, the photographer, is Ella.
