Miami Vice Monkey or Altered States by Joe Williams
Once again we are looking in to the prehistory of Monkey & Bird with another drawing from the ’80s. Seems like I’ve been doing less evolved self-portraits of myself for a while. This was from a handmade birthday card I gave to a girl I was pursuing back when Miami Vice was the hottest show on television. Thankfully, she evaded my pursuit. She never really got my jokes anyway (not that they’re all that cerebral.) Besides, she would have been a lot harder to draw than Bird!
