Generally, Truck Mascots are stuffed toys or animals discarded by their original owners and lashed to the grills of mainly commercial trucks sort of like flying maidens on ships of old. The driver of this Philadelphia Gas Works truck opted for genuine bone and antlers over acrylic fur and poly filling.
This truck was parked in the middle of a street in South Philadelphia as the men from the truck worked on a gas line. I was able to get up close for a tight shot.
It looks like they used shoelaces to tie it to the grill.
Nicely done, fellows.
