Italian Market Festival – Procession of the Saints

According to St. Paul’s Parish this is a procession of statues of Roman Catholic Saints led through the street by a traditional Italian brass band.

People carry or walk with statues in order to thank a saint for blessings they received or to ask for a favor from the saint. Others adorn the saint by pinning donations to ribbons that hang from every saint.
