White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

It’s that time of year when I start stockpiling cookie dough in my freezer to bake in the upcoming weeks. This is a new recipe, a cookie that’s made with cream cheese, dried cranberries, and white chocolate chips, rolled in confectioners sugar. It rates a thumbs up from the fellas!

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup confectioners sugar (for rolling)
  1. Preheat oven to 350º, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, and mix well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Fold in cranberries and white chocolate chips. Chill for an hour. Roll into balls, roll in confectioners sugar, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool before serving.
