Rimworld – Stranded

J. L. Curtis has branched out into outer space, and fortunately for me, he’s taking his favorite illustrator along for the ride. I’ve illustrated the covers of Jim’s The Grey Man series, which take place on modern day Earth. Now Jim marks his entry into the science fiction genre with Rimworld – Stranded. Not only is science fiction new to me, but so is the program used to create this cover. This is my first venture using vector art program Affinity Designer. I’m still getting used to the tools, but I like it a lot. This may turn out to be my tool of choice for all my book covers, stay tuned!
