You gotta love a cake where you toss pears into a pan, and combine the remaining ingredients into a blender! So easy for such an elegant and delicious result.
- 4 pears, peeled, sliced thin
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 350º. Spray a 9″ cake pan with cooking spray, set aside.
- Prep pears, arrange in prepared pan.
- Place remaining ingredients in a blender, and process until smooth. Pour batter over the pears and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
Okay, I can honestly say I’ve NEVER heard of that! 🙂
