Pear Custard Cake

You gotta love a cake where you toss pears into a pan, and combine the remaining ingredients into a blender! So easy for such an elegant and delicious result. 

  • 4 pears, peeled, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  1. Preheat oven to 350º. Spray a 9″ cake pan with cooking spray, set aside.
  2. Prep pears,  arrange in prepared pan.
  3. Place remaining ingredients in a blender, and process until smooth. Pour batter over the pears and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
