Hello Tina. I did a quick search for my great grandfather, Rufus Spayd and found that you had made a post about his business, Spayd’s Typewriter back in 2012! Thank you! I have done additional research and found that he advertised at colleges because he didn’t’t just sell office equipment. He rented it out too. Merry Christmas!
