Is There a Doctor in the House?

Sometimes you want something sweet, but want to take the easy way out. With just a few ingredients such as butter, coffee, eggs yolks, and mini chocolate chips – you can doctor up a box brownie mix and elevate it to the sublime.

  • 1 box of brownie mix (I used Duncan Hines)
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup coffee
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 325º, line an 8″ x 8″ baking dish with parchment paper. Spray the bottom with baking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients together with a wooden spoon. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes.
