Two Boys and Another Dog
Similar to last week’s shot, here is another photograph of John, Jr. and Henry O. Capewell taken by their father John B. Capewell of Westville, New Jersey.
Two Boys and a Dog
Here’s a photo of Henry O. and John B. Capewell, Jr. shot by their father John B. Capewell of Westville, NJ. This shot reminds me of Diane Arbus’s famous picture of twin girls which Stanley Kubrick appropriated for The Shining.

Children of the Corn
One of John B. Capewell’s brothers ran a farm and corn must have been one of his crops. This is a photograph of John’s sons, John, Jr. standing and Henry O. seated on the lodge pole chair.
John and the Boys in a Kiddie Car
Pictured above is John B. Capewell of Westville, New Jersey wedged into a kiddie car and holding his two sons, John Jr. and Henry O. Capewell. Henry, the younger of the two boys, was born in 1908 so this photograph … Continue reading
Market-Frankford El Headed for Frankford
I timed this shot just right. I saw the train coming around the bend, so I put my camera on a 10 second timer and hoped for the best. Lucky shot. I caught the train just as it pulled in.
