Another old sketchbook that has withstood every attempt to commit a decent drawing to it’s pages has bitten the dust. It continued to fight my efforts, but occasionally when I cracked it open on the Market-Frankford El without a notion of what I was going to do, I would come up with a sketch that I sort of liked. The red devil was one of those drawings rare for this horrible little sketchbook.
Now that it’s done, I sort of miss it. I think it’s the last easily portable sketchbooks that I had in need of redemption.
