I saw an unusual sight that not everyone sees in the brick and mortar urban environment of the City of Philadelphia. In a tree on my block, which is the farthest thing I can imagine from a Marlin Perkins nature special, I saw a raptor with it’s catch of the day. A hawk was dining on a pigeon on a block of brick rowhomes. One more photo behind the cut.
