Usually while I am in work waiting for some process to finish or waiting for someone to come to a decision, I will scribble on whatever paper I have handy. Usually the results are trash, but sometimes I’ll get carried away and something interesting may come out. Here are some of those aimless doodles with a 2mm, unsharpened red lead and a little bit of indigo blue mechanical pencil. I didn’t really have anything in mind. This is just what rolled off of the end of the pencil.

I think I was inspired by a couple of old movies I have watched recently where the main character gets sloshed and trouble ensues. “The Blue Gardenia” and “Where Danger Lives.”
