Werewolf in a Girls’ Dormitory

werewolfMy ongoing obsession of doodling vampires, werewolves and bimbos in a cheap sketchbook while watching trash on television continues so I thought I would share some sketches as well as some of the cinematic magnificence in which I’ve been basking.

Embedded below for your edification is the 1961 sub-classic known in its home country of Italy as Lycanthropus which is a pretty nifty title, but it was released in the USA as Werewolf in a Girls’ Dormitory. A handsome new teacher arrives at a reformatory school for girls, and the girls start dying. Is the professor a werewolf? Don’t stand, DON’T STAND too close to him! You can watch the movie embedded above or check it out at the Internet Archive. It’s in the public domain and absolutely free!

Lycanthropy in the Ladies’ Locker Room

I continue to sketch on the couch usually with 2mm red lead, and the subject is usually monsters. A lot of the drawings have been the product of brainstorming a story or trying to come up with designs for monsters. I think I’m still searching for my werewolf design. I’m still leaning towards a Lon Chaney, man in makeup look. That’s always been the wolf-man to me.
