I saw a post on social media about how this beautiful theater which was built in 1927 is in the process of being restored. It’s in Lansdowne, PA and just a stone’s throw from work so I decided to take a look. I didn’t go inside, but the facade is very impressive.
There is a website as you can see from the marquee that details the theater’s history and the restoration efforts. I’m not sure what kind of shows the theater will host, but I sort of doubt whether it will show movies. It would be a great place to screen classic films.
