My Dad discovered the consequences of moving from South Philadelphia to South Jersey in the form of tons of leaves each Autumn. We had a number of trees in our yard including apple, cherry and even a pear tree which all provided fruit, but would then dump piles of leaves deep enough to bury toddlers. My Dad was busily raking leaves when he paused to snap this photo around this time of year many decades ago.
