Back to the Drawing Board

Back to the real world drawing board which is a nice change being that I have been so ensconced with the digital world of late. Breaking out the graphite and the ink has been a welcome change from complicated disassembly and reassembly instructions filled with tiny connectors and tinier screws that are forever lost if they are dropped on the floor.

There is some work that I have been playing with that combines both the old and the new. I scanned the old cut-and-paste logo I did back in the 1980s and started to play with settings and filters on GIMP or the GNU Image Manipulation Program. I think I may have finally found a way of replicating the look of a really beat copier from back in the day.

There’s a little more work I have to do as far as getting my digital life squared away for the future. Once that is done, I plan to do a lot more real world drawing. Stay tuned!
