Walking West on Locust
Here’s another shot of the corner of Broad & Locust shot by the fabulous Tina Garceau back at the dawn of the 1980s. It seems she liked shooting at this particular corner which is about a block from where the … Continue reading
What’s Playing at Dobbs?
Tina shot a few frames from the corner of Broad and Locust Streets back in what may be the fall of 1981. Note the poster pasted to the pole for a show at JC Dobbs.

Probably listening to an 8-Track Tape
This was probably a self-portrait assignment that was part of the photo elective class illustrators had to take at the Philadelphia College of Art. I was probably listening to one of a small collection of remainder bin 8-track tapes while … Continue reading

Around Westville’s Pond
This is far from being a spectacular photo, but people who live, lived in or walked around Westville, New Jersey probably know exactly where I took this shot.

Up on the Circle
The following frames are among my favorite shots from this Photo Elective series. They are photos of a defunct greasy spoon known as the Murphy House that sat before a swampy marsh up in the area where Westville ended.

Outside of Little Pete’s
We’re back again with more fabulous but somewhat damaged frames of film from the early 1980s. The year is 1981 and Tina Garceau is outside of Little Pete’s restaurant trying to fulfill a class credit requirement by snapping photos in … Continue reading
