Echo Tote Bag

A few weeks back, I went to the fabric store and was immediately drawn to Lotta Jansdotter’s new Echo collection. I chose Spring Buds in mustard, and the aqua Scattered Pods, I thought it would make a terrific tote bag! I spent Sunday afternoon in the studio putting it together. The straps are big enough to sling the bag over your shoulder even with the addition of a winter coat. And as with all of the totes that I make, there is a nice sized pocket inside to hold keys, and other small items that would get lost on the bottom of the bag. Tote bags are a relatively easy project that can be made in a few hours, and makes a great gift!
