I’ve been using a lot of old photographs in my work lately. Some are family, others I’ve “adopted” like this photo which I picked up in an antique store. Judging from the woman’s clothes and a little bit of research on the photographer – this photo is about a hundred years old. I like to think that this couple would be happy to know that their portrait was turned into a Valentine many, many years after it was taken.
