100 Years

Today marks the 100th anniversary of my Dad’s birth. As he used to say, “Where did the time go?”

Dad was born and raised in Philadelphia, worked at the Frankford Arsenal, was a veteran of World War II, was a father of six — two kids in his 20s, two in his 30s, and two in his 40s of which I was number five, retired and worked at Sears for a number of years until he retired again. He was a wonderful man, a great father and a brilliant mechanic. He could fix anything. He was also funny as hell.

I miss him every day.
