

These cream cheese cookies are melt in your mouth soft, with a nice tanginess from the cream cheese. They’re easy to put together and you finish them off with a light dusting of confectioners sugar once they’re baked.
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- confectioners sugar, for dusting
- In a large bowl, beat butter and cream cheese until well blended, add sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- In a small bowl, whisk baking powder, flour, and salt. Mix into the butter/cream cheese mixture. Chill dough for an hour.
- Preheat oven to 375º, line a baking tray with parchment paper. Roll into tablespoon sized balls and bake for 9 to 11 minutes.
