Recently I’ve been traipsing down memory lane revisiting the people and impressions I had of grade school and junior high in the form of cartoons. Today I offer some images that I probably doodled in the margins of notebooks when I should have been paying attention in class.
Once again, I am producing these illustrations in my favorite vector art program Affinity Designer. I am approaching these cartoons in the same way I doodle in my little sketchbooks. I start with a blank page and I go where my pencils or, in this case, where the vector shapes and colors take me. 
I also worked on some variations of The Green Ghoul. I have a feeling I’m not done with this guy. This skull may be adapted into other creatures.
