
After a long day at the pool, sometimes you need something you can throw together for dinner in about 15 minutes. This ham and cheese pie is the ticket, and while it’s baking you can make a tossed salad – the perfect light dinner for a lazy summer night!
- 2 cups diced ham
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
- 4 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup Bisquick
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Preheat oven to 400º. Grease a 10″ pie plate.
- Sprinkle ham on the bottom of the pan, followed by the onions and cheddar cheese.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs then add milk, bisquick, salt, garlic powder, and pepper.
- Pour egg mixture over the ham, onions, and cheddar. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Test with a toothpick, it should come out clean. Slice and serve.



Also works well for breakfast!
