Ella’s Side of the Family
This looks to be Ella Capewell’s side of the family with her mother and father seated in the foreground; I’m guessing it’s her brother standing to the left, and on the right smiling at her husband, the photographer, is Ella.
The Larkin Method
When I first saw this negative shot by John B. Capewell, I thought I was looking at a food stand or a ticket booth at a carnival, but on closer examination, it turned out to be something else.
