What I like about making jewelry for friends is that the recipient is getting a unique gift. The wearer can go to a cocktail party/staff meeting/laundromat – confident that no one else will be wearing her earrings. One less thing to worry about!
The other part I like about it is sitting down at my desk at the end of a hectic day, and trying a bazillion different combination of beads until I get it just right. And hopefully, I did.
