KOLA filters are a set of colored, plastic disks that you manually hold in front of your camera lens or flash to color your photos. I’ve done a bit of experimenting with still lifes, but yesterday I took them to the pool to shoot my son.
What’s interesting is that the red and blue filters make the photos monochromatic. While the orange used in the shot below, has a bizarre effect on the original colors. My son looks like he forgot the sunscreen and is bathing in Lysol!

No, but I did a few shots with a filter over half of the lens, interesting effect – just not an interesting photo!
