Caturday

This is a combination Caturday / Photo Elective post.

Illustration majors at the school formerly known as The Philadelphia Collage of Art were required to take a photography elective where students would shoot 35mm film; process the film and make prints from the negatives. One of the assignments was a to shoot a self portrait. I had the same assignment when I did the elective, and I think I did a couple of overly self conscious shots whereas Tina had fun with dramatic lighting, a number of poses and a few costume changes. As you can see in this shot she grabbed a black kitten as a fashion accessory which makes this a Caturday post!.This is the full frame scanned from a 35mm negative.

This is the same shot after using one of Photoshop’s Neural Filters that instantly applies color.
