Back in the Saddle

…or at least trying to get there.

Fiddling around with vintage Macs in order to secure my creative future has taken a lot more time than I expected. I’ve been wrestling with components that aren’t quite up to snuff and doing the unfortunate dance I call the R.M.A. Tango (Return Merchandise Authorization).

The problems aren’t insurmountable, but they eat up time. What I thought would be a quick Halloween project has now stretched toward Summer — and that’s kept me away from the drawing board longer than I’d like.

Assembling computers and drawing use different parts of my brain, and switching gears has proven harder than anticipated. Still, I’ve been forcing the lever into “DRAW” mode and managed some doodling. My beloved Sailor Fude pens had gotten crusty and needed a thorough cleaning, but I’m happy to say I’m back in business with them.

My notebooks are also calling for attention so I can pick up the thread of my Teenage Beast story. I never quite nailed a proper ending before, but I think I’m finally onto something.

Stay tuned!
