Tending the Crops
Are You Ready For Some Football?
Boy, those are six words I never thought would appear on this site! Honestly, I know very little about football except that the ball is brown, they play for three minutes and stand around for twenty. Come to think of it, it sounds like my kind of sport!
Anyway, I made this bow tie for my friend Michael who is a huge Steelers fan, and since he’s got a formal function to go to, I knew I had to get on the ball *snort* and get this tie made! He might opt for a black tie – but hey – it’s always nice to have a choice!
If you’re interested in making your own there’s a tutorial here.

Fresh Apple Cake with Caramel Glaze
Apple Cake with Caramel Glaze, another of Scott Peacock’s gems! I’ve made this cake a lot – with the glaze, without the glaze, a gluten free version – it never disappoints! It’s moist, a good cake to feed a crowd at Thanksgiving, and amazing with a cup of coffee for breakfast. Oh come on, you can’t eat half a grapefruit or a bowl of oatmeal every morning!

It Came From The Sketchbook – The Little Black Book
A few weeks ago I decided to give the What I Like About Comics category a rest and blow the dust off of the It Came From The Sketchbook category shaking loose some of the drawings from sketchbooks I’ve got stacked around the studio. The name of the site is Willceau Illo News so I figured I’d better live up to the name and give you some illustrations.
At the top of the page is a banner for the category I just cooked up. It’s probably too big, but I like the way it looks. So enjoy it in all of it’s scratchy glory!
