This is one of the treats I made for the cookie tray for Lloyd’s holiday party at school. Mini candy canes with marshmallows dipped in semi-sweet chocolate and decorated with red and green trees and white sprinkles. Skewer the marshmallows with the candy canes (mine came 28 in a package) pour 6 ounces of chocolate chips (1/2 of a bag) into a small bowl with a tablespoon of vegetable shortening and microwave in 30 second increments stirring after each time until the chocolate is melted. Dip the marshmallows, decorate, and place on a parchment lined baking tray to set. Simple!
