Pill Poppin’ Truckers and Frankenstein Monsters
I’ve been sitting on the couch lately, doodling while watching trash on my Roku streaming box. I dumped Netflix over a year ago but hung onto Amazon’s Prime Video. It’s got a lot of popular movies, television series and compelling … Continue reading

The Lurking Fear
This started as a doodle in the cheap and childish sketchbook that I wrote about recently. I was still in a Halloween frame of mind as I was kicking around costume ideas for next year. I started scratching out an … Continue reading

Another Cheap Sketchbook Bites the Dust
The Llama Sketchbook: December 27, 2017 to September 29, 2018 Well, at least there is a llama beneath the stickers. In the back and forth of my commutes, my sketchbooks take a beating so I encrust them with whatever stickers … Continue reading

Dick Blick Licked
I’ve put another sketchbook to rest. I’ve had this one for a while. I bought it from Dick Blick back in 2012. I think I bought it because I thought an 8 inch by 10 inch pad would be a … Continue reading

Just Like Heaven
A year ago I was polishing off what turned out to be one of my all-time favorite sketchbooks which I referred to as The Sketchbook from Heaven. I tried to find or, in some cases, make a replacement, but nothing … Continue reading

Another Heaven Sent Sketchbook?
Last year I had the good fortune of receiving a Christmas present of a cheap and cheap looking sketchbook that looked like nothing more than an overly large scratch pad to be kept by the telephone for jotting down numbers. … Continue reading

Sketchbook Dragon
I decided to set aside my toothy Canson XL Mixed Media sketchbook for a smaller, inexplicably smoother Canson XL Mixed Media sketchbook to sketch the toothy beast above. The newer sketchbook was purchased at a local Walmart strangely enough and … Continue reading
