My friend Penny, who lives on a farm in Alabama has a game cam – apparently, we need to invest in one as well. This fella posed for a few pics, then went running off. Welcome to the concrete jungle, I felt like Elly May with this critter making himself at home in my backyard!

It’s always the case — I was looking for something else and I uncovered another treasure. This time I found a stash of Tina Garceau’s 35mm photo negatives from the Photo Elective course all illustration majors were required to take at The Philadelphia College of Art.


This is what I call a “cheater cake” – it starts with a box mix that’s doctored up, with lemon pie filling swirled in, and is topped with a cream cheese – whipped cream frosting. It’s light, slightly sweet, with a tang of lemon! Continue reading
