Happy Birthday!
We celebrated The Boy’s birthday last night with his usual choice of pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, and wavy chips. Dessert was a sour cream chocolate chip cake with a peanut butter, cream cheese frosting – more on that tomorrow!
It’s Too Darn Hot!
It was 97º yesterday, and the only relief we city folk could get was a dip in the local pool. It was Heaven!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffins
The Boy decided to bake chocolate chocolate chip muffins, it’s been so cold out that we’ll use any excuse to turn on the oven and bake! These were terrific!
